Foot Disease Part 1?

Foot may be the bottom part of the human body and often lack of care, it is considered only when it was exposed by disease, especially for the majority of men.

Foot Disease is different in every place. In Africa for example, disease in foot who often occurs is an infection caused by parasites such as worms called guinea worm also called guinea worm disease(GWD), that enter the body through drinking water that contains infected fleas with guinea worm larvae.

In Europe, most of foot disease caused by fungi, abnormalities orthopedic (bone), warts, eczema, psoriasis (a chronic skin peeling), infection, and pigment abnormalities.

Below are diseases who often found on the foot :

1. Foot disease caus by fungi.

a. Dermatophytes  Infection

The cause Tricophyton Fungus and Epidermophyton Fungus, the trigger factors is a daily life wearing shoes or footwear closed, poor foot care, workers with employment conditions with legs that always wet or water bath. Can be spread direct or indirect contact. Clinical symptoms  may vary, form interdigitalis between toes 4 and 5, visible skin cracks (fissures) who circled fine scales and thin, often seen moist (maceration).

b. Non-Dermatofit Infection

Non-dermatophytes can only infect up to the outermost layer of the stratum corneum. This difference is caused by dermatophyte fungi secrete certain substances (lipophilic and proteofilik) to make epidermis rupture, while non-demartofit not have this substance. For both of these fungi, histopathological examination was not carried on, but enough to find mushrooms (especially hyphae) in the skin who suspected of being infected jamur.
